Job summary

Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced Dietary Aide to join our dietary team. Full Time & Part Time schedules available with 6:30am-2:30pm and 4:00pm-8:00pm shifts. Holiday & Weekend availability a must.

Responsibilities include light food preparation, ensuring therapeutic diets are followed, and maintaining sanitation per regulations while working closely with the dietary supervisor and dietitian.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
• Past experience preferred, but training provided.
• Knowledge of basic foods and nutrition, sanitation and service.
• Willing to wear hair covering and be well groomed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with light food preparation.
• Ensure therapeutic diets are prepared and served as prescribed.
• Maintain strong organizational and time management skills.
• Work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
• Manage multiple tasks in a demanding healthcare environment.
• Collaborate with dietary supervisor and dietitian to provide balanced meals.
• Follow Health Department regulations on food prep and sanitation.
