AdventHealth Carrollwood in Tampa, FL is seeking a dedicated hospital food service associate to prepare and serve meals for patients and staff. You will follow standardized recipes, stock pantries, and ensure accurate temperature records while maintaining clean, safe service areas.

You will use a cafeteria register, assist with inventory, and collaborate with care teams to support compassionate patient care. The role offers day shifts with competitive benefits beginning day one.

Job Description

Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following standardized recipes and production requirements to ensure quality and consistency. Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments, maintaining accurate inventory records and billing documentation. Serve meals on tray lines, record food temperatures, and deliver trays to patients using proper identification protocols and isolation procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment, using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively according to required concentrations. Operate dishroom equipment and café registers, process transactions accurately, and monitor sanitation logs and temperature records, taking corrective actions as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Education

High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred] Field of Study: N/A Work Experience: 1+ experience in food service experience in hospitality or healthcare industry. [Preferred]
