AdventHealth in Palm Coast, FL is seeking a part-time Food Service Associate to prepare and assemble meals, stock nursing pantries, and deliver trays to patients. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and customer service in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, operating dishroom and café registers, and documenting temperatures and inventory. The position requires basic math, English communication, and the ability to work part-time daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math and able to communicate in English.
• Good customer service skills required.
• Computer skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Physical ability to perform designated job required.

• Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following recipes and production requirements.
• Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments with accurate inventory records and billing docs.
• Serve meals on tray lines, record food temperatures, and deliver trays to patients using proper ID protocols and isolation procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment; use cleaning chemicals safely.
• Operate dishroom equipment and café registers, process transactions accurately, and monitor sanitation logs and temperature records.
• Other duties as assigned.

Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following standardized recipes and production requirements to ensure quality and consistency. Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments, maintaining accurate inventory records and billing documentation. Serve meals on tray lines, record food temperatures, and deliver trays to patients using proper identification protocols and isolation procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment, using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively according to required concentrations. Operate dishroom equipment and café registers, process transactions accurately, and monitor sanitation logs and temperature records, taking corrective actions as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must have basic math skills and able to communicate in English.
• Good customer service skills required.
• Computer skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Physical ability to perform designated job required.

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• 1+ experience in food service experience in hospitality or healthcare industry. [Preferred]
