Michiana Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Dietary Aide to support patient meals and dining room operations. The role covers 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and involves assisting with salad bar prep, dish machine operation, and maintaining a clean dining environment.

Qualifications

• Comply with established sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Set up the salad bar and prepare vegetables, salads and other salad bar items neatly.
• Ensure the salad bar is attractive and visually appealing.
• Follow portion control guidelines when preparing food.
• Record dish machine temperatures as required.
• Follow daily cleaning assignments for the dining room and kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of the salad bar.
• Ensure the dining room and kitchen remain clean at all times.
• Assist in preparation and delivery of patient meals and unit supplies.
• Operate the dish machine.
• Assist the Cook as needed.
