Job summary

Trillium Behavioral Health in Warren, MI is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily meal service for adult patients in a behavioral-health setting. You will prepare and serve meals, follow dietary requirements, and maintain strict food-safety and sanitation standards.

The position is in-person, four days per week, ten hours per day. Training will cover hospital policies, confidentiality, and coordination with nursing and dietary staff to ensure respectful, reliable service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe certification required or must be obtained within hospital-established timeframe after hire.
• Previous food-service experience is preferred.
• Healthcare or behavioral-health experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, reheat, and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner to patients according to established meal schedules.
• Ensure meals meet dietary needs, allergies, textures, and fluid restrictions.
• Receive, verify, and store food deliveries and maintain proper inventory.
• Maintain food-safety standards by monitoring temperatures and sanitation.
