Job summary

Buchanan County Health Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to perform basic food service tasks including cleaning, setting up meals, and distributing food. This role supports a clean, organized kitchen and patient/customer dining experiences in Independence, IA.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, basic English literacy, and the ability to read and follow directions. Age 15+ preferred; prior food service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred with completion of on the job training in principles of food service preferred.
• Ability to read and write the English language required.
• Must be 15 years of age or older.
• Previous food service experience is preferred; must be able to read, write and speak English as well as understand and follow written and oral directions.
