Job summary

Elbow Lake Medical Center in Elbow Lake, MN seeks a dietary aide to support the complete preparation and distribution of patient and employee meals. Responsibilities include delivering patient trays, assisting cooks with cafe service on grill and fryer, handling cash register transactions, and aiding with grocery deliveries.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma (preferred) and ServSafe or MN Health Dept. Food Manager certification (preferred).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ServSafe certification or MN Department of Health Food Manager's certificate preferred or willingness to complete ServSafe. Six months related experience preferred.
• Knowledge in modified diets and high sanitation standards; ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be able to attend the work site per schedule.
• Pre-employment health screening required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute patient and employee meals.
• Deliver patient trays and assist cooks with grill/fryer cafe service.

Job Location: Elbow Lake Medical Center - ELBOW LAKE, MN 56531, Position Type: Casual (Less than 32 hrs every 2 weeks), Salary Range: $17.32 - $22.17 Hourly, Job Category: Food Service, The Dietary Aide is responsible for complete preparation and distribution of patient and employee meals. Duties include, but are not limited to, delivering patient trays, assisting Cook with preparing meals mainly on grill and fryer for cafe service, performing cash register transactions, and assisting with grocery deliveries. Staff must have complete knowledge in all areas of the kitchen and be prepared to perform all duties as requested by the Dietary Site Manager.

Compensation

Hourly Wage Range: $16.82-$21.53/hour Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.
