Job summary

Lake Region Healthcare is seeking a Dietary Aide at Elbow Lake Medical Center in Elbow Lake, MN for a casual schedule (64 hours biweekly, day shifts). The role involves preparing and distributing meals for patients and staff, delivering trays, and assisting with cafe service on the grill and fryer.

Cash handling and customer interaction are part of the duties. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (ServSafe or Food Manager cert preferred), plus 6 months of related

Qualifications

• Education/Special Skills: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. ServSafe certification or MN Department of Health Food Manager’s certificate preferred or willingness to successfully complete ServSafe certification course.
• Six (6) months related experience preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.
• Ability to interact with patients, physicians, employees, and guests.

Responsibilities

• Complete preparation and distribution of patient and employee meals.
• Deliver patient trays and assist Cook with grill/fryer for cafe service.
• Perform cash register transactions.
• Assist with grocery deliveries.
