Glendale-Post-Acute-Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to support all food functions in the facility. Shift is 5:30 AM-2:00 PM, and the role includes assisting the Dietician, aiding cooks with meal prep, and helping serve meals to residents.

Responsibilities include setting up meal service, following portion controls and sanitation guidelines, and keeping prep and dining areas clean. Prior experience is helpful but on-the-job training is provided; English fluency is required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting the Dietician / Dietary Management and Cook as requested
• Helping with meal preparation in accordance to the dietary needs of the residents
• Assisting in serving meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance
• Timely setting up of meal service and delivery of meal trays and food carts
• Following safety regulations and precautions at all times
• Keeping worktables clean and sanitation of food prep areas
• Dishing washing and cleaning of utensils
• Returning clean dishes and utensils to storage
• Carrying out garbage and disposing of food waste per regulations
• Obtaining food supplies for the next meal
