Job summary

Antelope Valley SNF Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Dietary Aide General Purpose to support our kitchen team. You will learn routine food service tasks, set up meal trays, and assist with serving meals while maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include dishwashing, food preparation, and following safety procedures. A high school diploma or equivalent and a food handlers certificate are required; lifting up to 50 pounds and physical stamina are necessary.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly and accurately.
• Set up meal trays for service.
• Strip and wash returned trays and wash dishes.
• Assist with serving meals and nourishments.
• Record dishwasher chlorine concentration and water temp at shift start.
• Monitor dishwasher cycles and water temperatures.
• Operate the dishwasher and maintain sanitation.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks as needed.
• Sweep and mop kitchen areas and maintain floors.
• Handle trash disposal and groceries storage safely.
• Keep kitchen clean and sanitary for cook and dietary supervisor.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing dietary staff training.
• Collaborate with staff across departments.
