Job summary

TLC Care Center is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to support resident meal service and sanitation standards. You will set up dining areas, assist with meal preparation, and deliver trays on schedule while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

Ideal candidates have prior dietary aide experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to hygiene and teamwork in a fast-paced setting. A high school diploma is required, with food service certification considered a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Sanitation and safety guidelines knowledge essential.
• Experience as dietary aide in food service with patient or resident interaction.
• Ability to follow instructions for meal prep and serving.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under supervision of dietary manager or cook.
• Deliver dishes and trays to rooms on schedule.
• Assist in post-meal cleanup and collect plates; dispose of leftovers.
• Maintain hygiene; wash dishes and clean cookware and utensils.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory.
• Keep kitchen equipment and appliances in good condition.
