Job summary

The-Country-Home-Memory-Care is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in preparing and serving meals in a healthcare setting. You will support the dietary team, ensure meals meet dietary guidelines, and help maintain a clean, safe kitchen and dining area for residents and patients.

Responsibilities include following resident dietary plans, delivering meals, and communicating dietary needs to staff. A high school diploma is required, and prior food service or healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must follow resident or patient dietary plans and special diets
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in meal portioning and presentation
• Good interpersonal and communication skills for residents, patients, and staff
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare or long-term care setting

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and service of meals according to menus and dietary guidelines
• Prepare food trays and deliver them to residents' rooms as needed
• Follow dietary plans including special diets and restrictions
• Maintain sanitation and safety of kitchen and dining areas
• Monitor inventory and assist in stocking and rotating supplies
