Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food preparation, serve meals per dietary needs, and maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas while upholding safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, with or without prior food service experience. Strong teamwork, reliability, and positive interactions with residents and staff are essential for success

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food service/kitchen helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and clear communication with occupants, staff, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
