Midwest Health in Valley Falls, Kansas is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in the kitchen before, during, and after meals, maintain clean work areas, and help with meal service. The role requires adherence to safety and infection-control policies and the ability to lift and stand for extended periods.

You will support food preparation, dishwashing, and daily cleaning tasks while following established procedures. Training is provided and reliability is essential.

Qualificações

• Regular worksite attendance.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.

Responsabilidades

• Comply with the Facility’s personnel, safety, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Report alleged resident abuse/neglect immediately to the Administrator, Director of Nursing or Charge Nurse on Duty.
• Treat residents, family members, visitors, and team members with dignity and respect.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident and family information.
• Assist in serving meals and pouring beverages.
• Prepare and serve in-between meal nourishment snacks.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Clean work tables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, food storage, etc.
• Carry out garbage and keep work areas clean, dry and free of hazards.
• Follow safety regulations and Infection Control policies.
• Report hazards/equipment to supervisor.
• Dispose of food and waste according to policies.
