Job summary

The position requires basic computer skills, English proficiency, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends. Training will cover safety and infection control procedures within the facility.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours and on weekends/holidays when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Facility’s personnel, safety, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Report abuse/neglect immediately to the Administrator, Director of Nursing or Charge Nurse on Duty.
• Treat residents, family members, visitors, and team members with dignity and respect.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident and family information.
• Assist in serving meals and pouring beverages.
• Prepare and serve in-between meal nourishment snacks.
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties.
• Clean work tables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, food storage, etc.
• Carry out garbage and keep work areas clean, dry and free of hazards.
• Assist cook in preparing meals when needed.
• Follow safety regulations and infection control policies.
