Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist in the kitchen before, during, and after meals. You will help maintain work areas, keep utensils clean, and support cooking staff as needed.

You will follow facility policies, interact with residents with dignity, and report hazards promptly. The role requires basic English, basic computer skills, and flexibility for extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to work beyond normal hours, weekends and holidays when necessary.
• Ability to interact with ill, elderly residents with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

• Assist in serving meals and pouring beverages.
• Prepare and serve in-between meal nourishment snacks.
• Assist in daily cleaning duties according to policies.
• Clean work tables, equipment, and food storage areas.
• Follow safety and infection control policies at all times.
• Report hazards or incidents to a supervisor promptly.
