Dietary Aide Responsibilities:

1. Assist in cleaning and organizing the kitchen and food storage areas.
2. Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
3. Check and record the chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwashing machine at the beginning of each shift.
4. Monitor water temperature during dishwashing cycles.
5. Set up breakfast trays.
6. Prepare juice for breakfast trays and medication passes.
7. Assist with serving meals.
8. Butter bread and pour milk and juice.
9. Prepare nourishments and snacks.
10. Empty trash cans.
11. Set up meal trays.
12. Sweep and mop the kitchen area.
13. Put groceries away in a safe, orderly, and clean manner.
14. Report resident care concerns and potential issues to the Administrator and/or Director of Nursing.
