Job Summary

Under the direction of the Patient Services Manager and/or Clinical Nutrition Manager, responsible for patient menu management, data collection, and diet office functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Distribute and collect menus.
• Assist patients with menu selections in line with prescribed diets.
• Offer menu alternatives respecting allergies, sensitivities, cultural, and religious preferences.
• Plan menus based on current diet manual.
• Prepare and distribute supplements, tube feedings, and enteral formulas accurately and timely.
• Manage human/donor milk and infant formula inventory if responsible.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and patient rights policies.
• Adhere to regulatory standards including federal, state, and TJC.
• Complete documentation, reports, and logs.
• Follow infection-control policies and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
