Job summary

Atlee Hill Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a part-time dietary aide to support all dietary functions under the direction of the Director of Food Services. Sign on bonus applies and weekend coverage is required.

The position involves serving meals, setting up trays, assisting cooks, delivering meals, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in the dining area. Prior experience is preferred, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related experience preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals according to portion-control procedures.
• Set up meal trays and dining room.
• Assist Cook in meal preparation.
• Distribute and collect menus.
• Deliver food carts and trays to designated areas.
• Follow safety regulations at all times.
• Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Job description

The primary purpose of your job position is to provide assistance in all dietary functions as directed/instructed by the Director of Food Services, and in accordance with established dietary policies and procedures.

Sign on bonus: $1,000

Part time 11:30am-8:00pm every other weekend

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve meals in accordance with established portion-control procedures.
• Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room.
• Assist Cook in preparing meals as directed.
• Distribute and collect menus.
• Deliver food carts, trays to designated areas.
• Serve food in dining room as instructed.
• Perform dishwashing/cleaning procedures.
• Remove food trays from carts, dining rooms and take to dishwashing area.
• Follow safety regulations and precautions at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

One year preferred; On-the-job training provided.
