Country Club Rehab & Healthcare Center is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to join our dietary team. You will help prepare dining rooms, provide meal service to residents, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation in dining and kitchen areas.

Responsibilities include delivering meals on time, setting up dining spaces, assisting the Cook and Dietary Manager, and helping manage supplies and equipment. This position emphasizes teamwork and patient-centered service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Friendly with good communication skills.
• Ability to read.
• Meet physical demands – stand, sit, walk, push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Delivers meals to resident rooms at designated times and sets up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Maintains cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas and proper sanitation of dishes.
• Assists Cook and Dietary Manager as directed.
• Stocks ingredients and monitors inventory.

Dietary Aide - Essential Functions:

The Dietary Aide helps prepare dining rooms and tables, provide meal service to residents and maintains cleanliness and sanitation of dining and kitchen areas.

• Delivers meals to resident rooms at designated times and sets up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order.
• Maintain a clean dining areas & dishes using appropriate procedures, discard leftovers & empty trash.
• Understand and follow color coding and abbreviations of tray cards and therapeutic menus.
• Assists the Cook and Dietary Manager as directed.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory.
• Helps maintain kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Attend all mandatory in-services, educational trainings and department meetings.

Dietary Aide - Requirements:

• Friendly with good communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and residents.
• Ability to read.
• Meet physical demands – stand, sit, walk extended lengths of time, push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds
• Food service experience preferred
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines a plus
