Apploi is seeking dependable and team-oriented Dietary Aides to support meal service and food operations within a healthcare facility. You will help ensure meals are served timely, accurate to diet orders, and maintain cleanliness and resident respect.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Prior dietary or food service experience helpful but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and diet guidelines accurately.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up and assemble resident meal trays according to diet cards and menus.
• Deliver meal trays to nursing units and retrieve trays after meals.
• Assist with preparation of food items, snacks, and supplements as directed.
• Prepare items for medication passes as scheduled.
• Break down trays, operate dishwashing equipment, and properly store items.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and dining spaces.
• Assist cooks and food services staff as needed.
• Follow infection control, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Respond appropriately to requests from nursing staff and residents.
• Adhere to HIPAA and resident confidentiality requirements.
