Job summary

Opis Senior Services Group is seeking a energetic and motivated Dietary Aide to join our growing team in Florida. This role supports meal preparation and delivery to patients and residents in a healthcare setting, collaborating with dietary staff to plan, cook, and serve meals while ensuring proper food handling and sanitation.

You will stand by the kitchen, assist with stocking, and participate in ongoing training on dietary requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of proper food handling, storage, and retrieval procedures.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the serving of meals and beverages to residents, patients, and guests.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following proper sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Assist in the delivery and retrieval of food carts, plates, and utensils.
• Monitor and report food inventory levels and supplies to the Head Cook or Director.
• Attend and participate in regular training and education on dietary requirements and changes.
