Job summary

Saint Peters Rehab and Healthcare Center in Missouri is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to support our Dietary Team. You will help prepare dining rooms, deliver meals, and assist the Cook and Dietary Manager.

Qualifications

• Friendly with strong communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and residents.
• Ability to read and follow directions.
• Able to stand, walk, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining rooms and tables for meal service
• Deliver meals to resident rooms and dining areas
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining and kitchen areas
• Follow tray cards, color coding, and therapeutic menus
• Assist the Cook and Dietary Manager as directed
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory
• Help maintain kitchen equipment and appliances
• Attend required in-services and trainings
