Cortlandt Manor is seeking a Dietary Aide to join their team. The role supports residents with meals, assembles trays, labels food, and delivers items to nursing units while maintaining kitchen cleanliness.

Experience in long-term care is preferred but not required. Candidates should be able to follow procedures, stay patient, and work well in a team oriented environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Formación

• Experience in LTC preferred but not required.
• Able to deal tactfully with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Able to follow and understand procedures.
• Positive attitude, patience and team mentality.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in assembling and checking diet trays prior to distribution to ensure all residents receive the proper meals to meet dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly.
• Deliver food carts to designated areas and collect food trucks when meals are finished.
• Work in dish room; wash all dishes and utensils using the dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Keep the kitchen clean; sweep and mop floors as instructed.
• Carry out garbage.

Dietary Aide

At our center, residents are treated to a complete spectrum of Rehab Services and Clinical/Nursing Care. We provide the comprehensive care that meets the specialized physical, clinical and emotional needs of every individual that comes through our doors. Cortlandt Manor is searching for a Dietary Aide to join their growing team.

Dietary Aide Duties Include:

• Assist in assembling and checking diet trays prior to distribution to ensure all residents receive the proper meals to meet dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly
• Deliver food carts to designated areas as well as collecting food trucks when meals are finished to return to the dish room.
• Work in dish room, wash all dishes//utensils utilizing dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Ensure kitchen stays clean at all times, sweep/mop floors as instructed.
• Carry out garbage

Dietary Aide Requirements/Qualifications:

• Experience in LTC preferred but not required
• Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, etc...
• Able to follow and understand procedures
• Positive attitude, patience and team mentality

Dietary Aide Job Description:

Prepares items to be used on an assembly line. Works on an assembly line to prepare residents meals. Additional kitchen tasks.

Pay Rate: Up to $20.29
