The Bungalows at Springdale is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our community dining team. You will assist with food prep, plating, and dining service to residents while following safety and sanitation standards.

Shifts include weekdays and weekends with flexible hours; prior dining or senior living experience is preferred, and strong multitasking and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in dining, hospitality, or senior living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and assist with plating in dining areas.
• Adhere to posted menus and standardized recipes.
• Support residents with dining services and respond to requests.

Weekdays and weekends are required.

Purpose

Dietary Aide

The Dietary Aide is responsible for food preparation, plating dishes, dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Phoenix Senior Living standards. Responsible for handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.

• Follow all local, state and federal policies regarding food handling
• Maintains standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health standards
• Prepares all special dietary needs as directed
• Adheres to posted menus and prepares food items using approved Phoenix standardized recipes in a timely manner

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATION

Dietary Aide

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and / or full service senior living preferred
