Job summary

The Bungalows at Nevada, a Phoenix Senior Living community, is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our dining team and support meal preparation, plating and courteous dining service for residents and guests. This role requires high school diploma or GED and availability to work weekends, with shifts including mornings and evenings; prior dining/hospitality experience in senior living is preferred.

• Previous dining hospitality and/or senior living experience preferred

Shifts Details

630am-2pm Weekends 630am-2pm & 4pm-7pm

Dietary Aide

Mon-Fri ; every other weekend required

Purpose

The Dietary Aide is responsible for food preparation, plating dishes, dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Phoenix Senior Living standards. Responsible for handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.

• Follow all local, state and federal policies regarding food handling
• Maintains standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health standards
• Prepares all special dietary needs as directed
• Adheres to posted menus and prepares food items using approved Phoenix standardized recipes in a timely manner

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATION

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and / or full service senior living preferred
