Job summary

The Dietary Aide at Phoenix Senior Living Nevada location participates in food preparation, plating dishes, and delivering dining room service to residents and guests in our community dining areas in accordance with Phoenix Senior Living standards.

Responsibilities include handling all foods under sanitary procedures, adhering to federal, state and local regulations, and supporting the dining team with flexible weekend and evening shifts to meet peak service times.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in dining hospitality and/or senior living preferred.

The Bungalows at Nevada is seeking Dietary Aides to join their team!

Shifts Details

630am-2pm Weekends 630am-2pm & 4pm-7pm

Dietary Aide

Mon-Fri ; every other weekend required

Purpose

The Dietary Aide is responsible for food preparation, plating dishes, dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Phoenix Senior Living standards. Responsible for handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.

• Follow all local, state and federal policies regarding food handling
• Maintains standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health standards
• Prepares all special dietary needs as directed
• Adheres to posted menus and prepares food items using approved Phoenix standardized recipes in a timely manner

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATION

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and / or full service senior living preferred
