Paradigm at the Oak in Schulenburg, TX is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to join our team. This full-time position involves setting up dining areas, preparing meals under supervision, delivering dishes, and maintaining cleanliness across dining and kitchen areas.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, strong reading/writing and directions-following abilities, and customer service experience. Food handler certification is required by the state; ServeSafe is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under dietary manager and cook directions.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, dishes, trash, etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage.
• Clean food preparation areas, kitchen, dishes, and equipment.
• Clean other areas of facility as directed.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory and supplies as directed.
• Ensure food is provided according to orders or diet instructions.
• Communicate with residents, visitors, families, staff, and supervisors.

Job Duties

• Set up dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order
• Prepare meals under the direction of dietary manager and cook
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, dishes, trash, etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage
• Clean food preparation areas, kitchen, dishes, and equipment
• Clean other others of facility as directed
• Stock ingredients and monitor, food, beverage, and equipment/supplies inventory as directed
• Ensure that food is provided to residents consistent with orders or diet instructions
• Communicate and interact effectively with residents, visitors, families, staff, and supervisors
