Job summary

Paradigm Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide for a part-time night shift position at our facility in Gahanna, OH. You will assist with dining area setup, meal delivery, and aid in maintaining clean food service spaces while supporting residents and staff.

The ideal candidate has a High school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and prior customer service experience. A Food Handler certification is preferred to meet state requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
• Food Handler certification per state requirements (ServeSafe preferred).
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under the dietary manager and cook guidance.
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms.
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, and trash.
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory as directed.
• Ensure food is provided according to orders/diet instructions.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, staff, and supervisors.

Job Duties

• Set up dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order
• Prepare meals under the direction of dietary manager and cook
• Deliver dishes and trays at designated times and rooms
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses, dishes, trash, etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage
• Clean food preparation areas, kitchen, dishes, and equipment
• Clean other others of facility as directed
• Stock ingredients and monitor, food, beverage, and equipment/supplies inventory as directed
• Ensure that food is provided to residents consistent with orders or diet instructions
• Communicate and interact effectively with residents, visitors, families, staff, and supervisors
