Job summary

Sage View Healthcare is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our dietary department in Rock Springs, WY. We seek a team-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and supports culinary excellence within an enhanced dining program.

The role involves reading tray orders, setting up trays, assisting with food prep, serving meals, transporting carts, and maintaining a clean, orderly kitchen and dining area.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Food Handlers' Permit.
• Knowledge of food service sanitation and safety standards.
• Interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read production orders on tray cards.
• Place items on trays (utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, tray cards).
• Perform food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve food on trays at the proper time, attractively and at correct temperature.
• Push carts to halls or kitchen.
• Wash dishes and clean work area.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness.

• Read production orders on tray cards
• Places items, such as eating utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays.
• Performs food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve assigned food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature. May help with food preparation.
• Pushes carts to halls or kitchen.
• Washes dishes and cleans work area
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Required:Food Handlers' Permit
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety
• Interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Skill and ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
