Job summary

Evergreen Health care Group's Missoula Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our dietary department. This role supports culinary standards and patient meals within a team-focused environment.

You will read orders, prepare and serve meals, keep areas clean, and help maintain food safety and quality. A Food Handler's Permit is required; knowledge of sanitation and safety is essential. Training opportunities are available and growth is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Food Handler's Permit required.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation and safety in food service.
• Interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn to operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read production orders on tray cards.
• Place utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays.
• Assist with food preparation as assigned.
• Serve meals on trays at proper time and temperature.
• Push carts to halls or kitchen; maintain cleanliness.
• Washes dishes and keeps work area clean.
• Maintain overall order and cleanliness.

Job Summary:

Missoula Health and Rehabilitation Center is currently looking for a Dietary Aide to join our dietary department. We are seeking a team-oriented individual who takes pride in their work. Our enhanced dining program provides culinary excellence.

Essential Functions:

• Read production orders on tray cards
• Places items, such as eating utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays.
• Performs food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve assigned food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature. May help with food preparation.
• Pushes carts to halls or kitchen.
• Washes dishes and cleans work area
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Required: Food Handlers' Permit
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety
• Interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Skill and ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
