Job summary

Evergreen Healthcare Group in Colville, WA is seeking a Dietary Aide to join Buena Vista Healthcare's dietary department. We are a team‑oriented facility that takes pride in high dining standards.

You will read tray orders, assemble trays with utensils and condiments, assist with food prep, serve meals on time and at the correct temperature, push carts, wash dishes, and keep areas clean and orderly. PT and PRN positions available.

Qualifications

• Required: Food Handlers' Permit
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety
• Interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Skill and ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read production orders on tray cards
• Place items on trays (utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, etc.)
• Performs food preparation tasks as assigned
• Serve assigned food on trays at proper time and temperature
• Pushes carts to halls or kitchen
• Washes dishes and cleans work area
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness

Buena Vista Healthcare is currently looking for aDietary Aide to join our dietary department. We are seeking a team-oriented individual who takes pride in their work. Our enhanced dining program provides culinary excellence.

Essential Functions:

• Read production orders on tray cards
• Places items, such as eating utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays.
• Performs food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve assigned food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature. May help with food preparation.
• Pushes carts to halls or kitchen.
• Washes dishes and cleans work area
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
