Job summary

Myrtle Beach Manor is seeking Dietary Aides to join our team. The role involves food preparation, plating dishes, and dining services to residents and guests in accordance with our standards, with emphasis on sanitary handling and adherence to dietary requirements.

The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, prior dining/hospitality experience in senior living preferred, and the ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours as needed to meet peak service times.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required.
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and/or full-service senior living preferred.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate meals according to posted menus and approved recipes.
• Provide dining and table service to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards in food service areas.
• Follow all local, state and federal policies regarding food handling and sanitary procedures.

Job Details

Mon‑Fri; every other weekend required

Purpose

The Dietary Aide is responsible for food preparation, plating dishes, dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Phoenix Senior Living standards. Responsible for handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.

• Follow all local, state and federal policies regarding food handling
• Maintains standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health standards
• Prepares all special dietary needs as directed
• Adheres to posted menus and prepares food items using approved Phoenix standardized recipes in a timely manner

Requirements

Education / Experience / Licensure‑Certification

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and / or full service senior living preferred

• Understanding of infection control procedures

• Competent in time management / organizational skills
