Lexington Country Place is seeking Dietary Aides to join their team!

Shift Details

11 am-7 pm; every other weekend

Purpose

The Dietary Aide is responsible for food preparation, plating dishes, dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Phoenix Senior Living standards. The role requires handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and compliance with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.

Responsibilities

• Follow all local, state and federal policies regarding food handling
• Maintain standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health standards
• Prepare all special dietary needs as directed
• Adhere to posted menus and prepare food items using approved Phoenix standardized recipes in a timely manner

Requirements

Education/Experience/License‑Certification

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and/or full‑service senior living preferred

Skills and Abilities

• Understanding of infection control procedures
• Demonstrate ability to multitask and manage stress
• Competent in time management/organizational skills
• Understanding and embrace the assisted living philosophy
