Job summary

Manchester-Center-For-Rehabilitation-and-Healing-1 in Manchester, TN is hiring a Dietary Aide to support residents with meals and nutritional care. Responsibilities include assembling and checking diet trays, labeling food, delivering meals, dish room work, snack prep, kitchen sanitation, and garbage disposal. Equal opportunity employer; daily pay option available.

No formal degree is required. Experience in long-term care is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in LTC preferred but not required.
• Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, etc...
• Able to follow and understand procedures
• Positive attitude, patience and team mentality

• Deliver food carts to designated areas as well as collecting food trucks when meals are finished to return to the dish room.
• Work in dish room, wash all dishes//utensils utilizing dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Ensure kitchen stays clean at all times, sweep/mop floors as instructed.
• Carry out garbage

Dietary Aide Duties Include:

• Assist in assembling and checking diet trays prior to distribution to ensure all residents receive the proper meals to meet dietary needs.
