Job summary

Quality-Center-For-Rehabilitation-and-Healin in Lebanon, TN is seeking a Dietary Aide to support resident meals and dining operations. The role involves assembling and checking diet trays, labeling, delivering carts, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and dish area efficiency.

Applicants should be able to follow procedures, work well with others, and bring a positive, patient attitude to a team-focused center. This position may offer daily pay options where available.

Qualifications

• Experience in LTC preferred but not required.
• Able to deal tactfully with residents, family members, staff and visitors.
• Able to follow and understand procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assembling and checking diet trays prior to distribution to ensure all residents receive the proper meals to meet dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly.
• Deliver food carts to designated areas and collect food trucks when meals are finished to return to the dish room.
• Work in dish room, wash all dishes and utensils using the dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Ensure kitchen stays clean at all times, sweep and mop floors as instructed.
• Carry out garbage.

At our center, residents are treated to a complete spectrum of Rehab Services and Clinical/Nursing Care. We provide the comprehensive care that meets the specialized physical, clinical and emotional needs of every individual that comes through our doors.

Dietary Aide Duties Include:

• Assist in assembling and checking diet trays prior to distribution to ensure all residents receive the proper meals to meet dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly
• Deliver food carts to designated areas as well as collecting food trucks when meals are finished to return to the dish room.
• Work in dish room, wash all dishes//utensils utilizing dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.

Dietary Aide Requirements/Qualifications:
