Responsibilities

• Assemble and check diet trays to meet residents' dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly.
• Deliver food carts and collect used items after meals.
• Work in the dish room and wash dishes/utensils.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Keep the kitchen clean and floors swept/mopped as directed.
• Handle garbage and maintain overall sanitation.

Dietary Aide NOW OFFERING DAILY PAY!

Dietary Aide Duties Include:

• Assist in assembling and checking diet trays prior to distribution to ensure all residents receive the proper meals to meet dietary needs.
• Label and date food properly
• Deliver food carts to designated areas as well as collecting food trucks when meals are finished to return to the dish room.
• Work in the dish room, wash all dishes//utensils utilizing dish machine.
• Prepare and deliver snacks to nursing units.
• Ensure the kitchen stays clean at all times, sweep/mop floors as instructed.
• Carry out garbage

Dietary Aide Requirements/Qualifications:

• Must have dietary aide experience (LTC preferred but not required)
• Must be able to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, etc...
• Able to follow and understand procedures
• Positive attitude, patience and team mentality
