Job summary

Oak Park Place in Madison, WI is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals per dietary requirements while following safety standards. You will set up dining areas, deliver meals to residents, and assist with cleaning, sanitation, and inventory management.

Collaboration with Dietitians and Nurses to monitor intake and ensure residents receive proper meals is essential. A positive attitude and teamwork are highly valued in this role.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous experience working with the elderly preferred.
• Previous experience in a dietary position preferred.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member.

The Dietary Aide responsibilities included preparing and serving meals, ensuring to follow specific dietary requirements and safety standards, setting up dining areas, delivering meals to residents, and assisting with cleaning and sanitation. Dietary Aides also collaborate with Dietitians and Nurses, to help monitor patient intake, and manage inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Serving residents' meals according to instructions
• Using proper food handling techniques in plating and serving meals
• Cleaning and sanitizing the dining area
• Stocking the food storage areas and refrigerators
• Clean, wash, and sanitize dishes, silverware, and utensils

Requirements

Dietary Aide Qualifications

• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Previous experience working with the elderly preferred
• Previous experience in a dietary position preferred
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member
