Job summary

Oak Park Place in Menasha, WI is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide for 3pm-7pm or 11am-7pm, one-two weekdays and every other weekend. You will assist with meal preparation, serving, and maintaining safety standards while collaborating with dietitians and nurses.

Ideal candidates have a positive attitude and are willing to learn; prior experience with the elderly or in a dietary role is preferred. Competitive benefits and flexible schedules are offered as part of a supportive team.

The Dietary Aide responsibilities included preparing and serving meals, ensuring to follow specific dietary requirements and safety standards, setting up dining areas, delivering meals to residents, and assisting with cleaning and sanitation. Dietary Aides also collaborate with Dietitians and Nurses, to help monitor patient intake, and manage inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Serving residents' meals according to instructions
• Using proper food handling techniques in plating and serving meals
• Cleaning and sanitizing the dining area
• Stocking the food storage areas and refrigerators
• Clean, wash, and sanitize dishes, silverware, and utensils

Requirements

• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
• Previous experience working with the elderly preferred
• Previous experience in a dietary position preferred
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member
