Job summary

Oak Park Place in Dubuque, IA is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents, following dietary requirements and safety standards. You will help set up the dining area and assist with cleaning and sanitation, delivering meals and supporting dietary staff.

Collaborating with Dietitians and Nurses, you will monitor resident intake and inventory while contributing to a compassionate, resident‑centered dining program with flexible scheduling and benefits.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Previous experience working with the elderly preferred.
• Previous experience in a dietary position preferred.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Serving residents' meals according to instructions.
• Using proper food handling techniques in plating and serving meals.
• Cleaning and sanitizing the dining area.
• Stocking the food storage areas and refrigerators.
• Clean, wash, and sanitize dishes, silverware, and utensils.

The Dietary Aide responsibilities included preparing and serving meals, ensuring to follow specific dietary requirements and safety standards, setting up dining areas, delivering meals to residents, and assisting with cleaning and sanitation. Dietary Aides also collaborate with Dietitians and Nurses, to help monitor patient intake, and manage inventory.

Key Responsibilities
