Job summary

Oak Park Place in Wisconsin is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our caring team. This full-time, non-exempt role centers on meal preparation and service for residents, with strict attention to dietary requirements, safety standards, and courteous, respectful support.

You will set up dining areas, deliver meals, assist with cleaning and sanitation, stock food storage, and cooperate with Dietitians and Nurses to monitor resident intake.

Qualifications

• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Previous experience working with the elderly preferred.
• Previous experience in a dietary position preferred.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Serving residents' meals according to instructions.
• Using proper food handling techniques in plating and serving meals.

The Dietary Aide responsibilities included preparing and serving meals, ensuring to follow specific dietary requirements and safety standards, setting up dining areas, delivering meals to residents, and assisting with cleaning and sanitation. Dietary Aides also collaborate with Dietitians and Nurses, to help monitor patient intake, and manage inventory.
