Job summary

HHS Culinary and Nutrition Solutions, LLC is seeking a Dietary Aide to support the hospital’s dietary team in Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. You will assist patients with menu selection, deliver meals, and provide friendly, efficient service to ensure patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities include accurate meal delivery, upholding health & safety standards, and collaborating with the team to maintain smooth operation of meal services across day, evening, and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Maintain good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Preferred: Culinary experience in cook, kitchen, fast food, hotel ops, or healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service for all patients.
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner.
• Prepare cold/hot items and condiments for meal times.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management to help the department operate efficiently.

Job Description

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our culinary team!

As part of the dietary team, assist patients with menu selection and deliver their meals in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

• Wage: $15/hour
• Full-time and part-time positions available
• Day/Evening/Night shifts available
• Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
• Location: Lake Charles Memorial Hospital

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
