Job summary

Colonial Manor of Elma in Elma, IA, is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to join our friendly nursing home team. You will assist residents at meals, accommodate dietary needs, and help keep dining areas clean and safe.

The role offers weekend/on-call shifts, competitive wages, and opportunities for growth. Prior skilled nursing foodservice is preferred, with on-the-job training available and a supportive environment focused on quality resident care.

As a Dietary Aide you will assist residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Colonial Manor of Elma by ensuring residents receive the appropriate items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and ensuring the kitchen and dietary equipment is clean and sanitized. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
