Job summary

Colonial Manor of Elma is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to join our friendly, caring team. You will assist residents with meals and ensure dietary needs are met with accuracy and empathy, contributing to a high standard of care.

You will help maintain kitchen cleanliness, record temperatures, and support residents so they are comfortable and safe throughout their day.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a tenth grade education.
• Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience preferable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with meals in accordance with their dietary needs and ensure the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures.
• Keep the kitchen and dietary equipment clean and sanitized for the residents' comfort and safety.

As a Dietary Aide you will assist residents with one of their favorite parts of the day! Your work ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Colonial Manor of Elma by ensuring residents receive the appropriate items for each meal in accordance to their dietary needs, ensuring the safety of food and equipment by recording temperatures, and ensuring the kitchen and dietary equipment is clean and sanitized. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, a tenth (10th) grade education. Prior Skilled Nursing Foodservice experience is preferable, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
