Job description

Full Time Positions Available: 10am-6pm and 2pm-7:30pm

Every other weekend off!

Dietary Aide Job Responsibilities:

1. Review menus prior to food preparation.
2. Inspect special diet trays to ensure accuracy.
3. Complete administrative tasks such as forms and reports, and submit them to the Director of Food Services.
4. Coordinate dietary services with other departments as needed.
5. Collaborate with the facility's Dietician, Dietetic Technician, and other Supervisors, implementing recommended changes.
6. Follow all dietary procedures in accordance with established policies.
7. Assist in establishing food service production lines to ensure timely meal preparation.
8. Process diet changes and new diets received from Nursing Services, with approval from the Director of Food Service.
9. Perform dishwashing and cleaning procedures, ensuring utensils are available for the next meal.
10. Assist in inventorying and storing incoming food and supplies.
