Responsibilities of Dietary Aide:

1. Run dishes and silverware through dish machine following proper procedures and provide excellent resident service within established guidelines.
2. Clean and maintain equipment and designated areas.
3. Keep sufficient supplies of china, silverware, trays, cups, and glasses during service periods.
4. Serve meals to residents in accordance with portion control procedures, ensuring meals are appetizing in appearance.
5. Complete daily cleaning assignments, including cleaning up spills, unloading dishwashers, removing empty bottles, and disposing of trash.
6. Participate in departmental cleaning and recycling programs.
7. Dispose of food and waste following facility and state guidelines.

Requirements:

1. Experience in providing quality resident services, needs assessment, and evaluating resident satisfaction.
2. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, prioritize work, and resolve emergencies.
3. Knowledge of sanitary practices related to food handling.
4. Good communication skills for effective interaction with residents and families.
5. Ability to identify and report problems and suggest corrections.
6. Must perform dishwashing tasks.
