Job description

Valley View Village, a senior care campus, is hiring Part-Time Dietary Aides to join our team! In this entry-level role, you will gain valuable knowledge and experience by serving meals to our residents, employees, and family members. Meal times and good food are essential parts of everyone's lives! Please consider joining our team to make a difference in the lives of those we serve. We will provide training for this position!

There are Part-Time positions available with varied schedules, including every other weekend.
Hours: 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Dietary Aide responsibilities:

1. Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.
2. Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
3. Assist with food preparation and serve meals to residents.
4. Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
5. Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining areas.
6. Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
7. Perform other duties as needed.

Dietary Aide skills and requirements:

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Read and understand procedures for work assignments, instructions, and menu requests.
• Candidates must pass background checks.
