Job summary

Oak Park Place in Wisconsin is seeking a Dietary Aide to support residents through meal service, dietary compliance, and sanitation. This full-time role covers early shifts from 7am-3pm, including every other weekend.

You will work closely with dietitians and nurses to ensure accurate portions, proper food handling, and a clean dining environment, while enjoying flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous experience with the elderly preferred.
• Previous experience in a dietary position preferred.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Serving residents' meals according to instructions

• Cleaning and sanitizing the dining area

Dietary Aide responsibilities

The Dietary Aide responsibilities included preparing and serving meals, ensuring to follow specific dietary requirements and safety standards, setting up dining areas, delivering meals to residents, and assisting with cleaning and sanitation. Dietary Aides also collaborate with Dietitians and Nurses, to help monitor patient intake, and manage inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Serving residents' meals according to instructions


• Using proper food handling techniques in plating and serving meals


• Cleaning and sanitizing the dining area


• Stocking the food storage areas and refrigerators


• Clean, wash, and sanitize dishes, silverware, and utensils

Requirements

• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn

• Previous experience in a dietary position preferred


• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member
