Canterbury House, part of Evergreen Healthcare Group, seeks a Dietary Aide to join the dietary department in Auburn, WA. You will work in a team-focused environment with an emphasis on culinary excellence and high sanitation standards.

The role involves reading tray orders, assembling meals, assisting with food prep, and delivering meals at proper temperatures while maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Must have a Food Handlers' Permit.
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read production orders on tray cards.
• Place items on trays, including eating utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards.
• Perform food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve assigned food on trays at proper time, in good condition and temperature.
• Push carts to halls or kitchen.
• Wash dishes and clean work area.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness.

Canterbury House is currently looking for a Dietary Aide to join our dietary department. We are seeking a team-oriented individual who takes pride in their work. Our enhanced dining program provides culinary excellence.

Essential Functions:

• Read production orders on tray cards
• Places items, such as eating utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays.
• Performs food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve assigned food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature. May help with food preparation.
• Pushes carts to halls or kitchen.
• Washes dishes and cleans work area
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Required: Food Handlers' Permit
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety
• Interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Skill and ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.
