Job summary

Hot Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to join our dietary department. You will work in a team, contributing to our enhanced dining program with culinary excellence.

The role involves reading tray orders, placing utensils and condiments on trays, and assisting with food preparation and service to ensure meals are served hot and attractively. Join a caring team dedicated to quality and patient well-being.

Qualifications

• Must have a Food Handlers' Permit.
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn to operate kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read production orders on tray cards.
• Place items such as utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays.
• Perform food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature.
• Pushes carts to halls or kitchen.
• Washes dishes and cleans work area.
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness.

Essential Functions:

• Read production orders on tray cards
• Places items, such as eating utensils, napkins, straws, condiments, and tray cards on trays.
• Performs food preparation tasks as assigned.
• Serve assigned food on trays at proper time, attractively, and at correct temperature. May help with food preparation.
